I'm sorry about the lack of detail on my prompts! If you're stuck, look below for some expanded ideas and brainstorming. Although, if you already have an idea for a pairing, run with it! I'll probably like something you've already been thinking about for a while better than what I prompted.

My favorite quadrant is pale, and I like pale/pitch vacillation a lot! I'm not a fan of cuddly-no-problems-watch-movies-together pale. I'm more a fan of you're a total mess and I'm the only one who can straighten you out shouting-match pale. But every character/pairing will have a different approach.

Porn is fine if you want to write it, but don't feel obligated. No het sex (not sure why it would come up?), but anything else goes. Also, violence is okay, but no blood or references to the circulatory system in your descriptions please. Broken bones, amputations, whatever--just no blood. But just because I'm OK with porn or gore doesn't mean you need to write it, write the things you're best with!

For Rose/Kanaya/Terezi/Vriska...
This is my OT4! These are my four favorite Homestuck girls and I love them in pretty much every combination. They all play off each other so well! My favorite setup is Kanaya♠Terezi, Rose♠Vriska, Terezi♦Rose, Vriska♦Kanaya, Rose♥Kanaya, Terezi♥Vriska; I also like all four of them in a poly reddish-pale mess. But things in real life very rarely work out as cleanly as shipping grids, so what I'd like to see best is a situation where the feelings are EVERYWHERE and DON'T fall into a clean-cut setup like this.
Canon has graciously provided us a three-year window where these girls are stuck together with nothing else to do but interact with one another, so I'd prefer the retcon-timeline meteor journey instead of an AU. Since Vriska is the catalyst for change in this case I'd also prefer something that centers on her somehow.

For Rose/Nepeta...
Lots of people tend to play up Rose's serious side as someone determined to win the game, as someone with intellectual and literary pursuits and interests, etc... but forget that she's quite silly when she can be. Her literary background also makes her very likely to be interested in the kind of freeform RP that Nepeta thrives in! So give me some silly, cute back and forth as the two get to know each other and feelings develop!
I'm flexible in how this happens: pesterlogs during the kids' session, an AU where Nepeta lives & joins the meteor crew, encounters in the dreambubbles (especially since Rose's mission in the bubbles seemed to be "hit on every lady"), or even a postgame or no-game AU, anything goes.

For Tavros/Equius...
What I'm interested in here is very specifically Tavros being at the physical mercy of Equius performing routine maintenance or repairs or upgrades to Tavros's prosthetics... while of course not necessarily being the one in control of the situation overall, if you understand what I mean. The intimacy of the situation may be born of necessity, but perhaps there's a deeper meaning to it...
There was no time at all in canon where this could happen, so who cares about canon? Just give me a situation where they're stuck together with Equius seeming to be in control on the surface but it's really Tavros calling the shots. An Eq viewpoint would be nice, and you can go with an established relationship or with unrequited feelings on either side.

For Kanaya/Terezi...
I'd like to see some interaction between these two back on Alternia or maybe in a no-game AU. Maybe things come to a head over Vriska, maybe Vriska's a non-issue and they both dump her to have each other? I'm also interested in a FLARP-related situation; why are all of Kanaya's friends (except Karkat) into it, but she's not? Give me the story of her first and only FLARP game. Give me the AU where she rules the FLARP community with an iron fist as the uncontested rainbow drinker monarch. Give me cute and fluffy measuring/fitting, since I can never get enough of that no matter how much I have.

Also, no matter what you decide to write, remember to have fun doing it!

Hello and nice to meet you! Thanks for agreeing to write me something! Sorry that all of my tastes are weird. But if you have been matched to me, your tastes must be weird too!

Honestly I am OK with just about anything you could write. But in general, here are some things I like that might come up.
-I like terrible ideas with flawless execution. In general, the weirder, more absurd, completely nonsensical a starting point can, played entirely 100% straight, make for the most entertaining and amazing result. It's a hard row to hoe though, so don't feel obligated.
-I like hypercompetent characters that get into trouble through no fault of their own.
-I like antagonism. I like hypercompenetent antagonism there each partner is already two steps ahead of the other and neither can find an advantage until it turns out that the whole thing was a setup and really it was all according to plan.
-I like the very interesting settings posited by most of the media I requested. What's the Court really like, day to day? Now that humanity is driven underground, what's the repliroid society like on the surface world? Are nearly half of everyone you meet day to day really Worm in disguise? How does it change how you approach daily life, knowing you can fix anything (but refusing to fix Rohan's Pretty Woman furniture omg)? What's any of that like?
-Slice of life is perfectly fine. Even better is slice of life with hints of something bigger in the background, like scattered scenes of calm between large offscreen tracts of definitely-not-calm.
-In general I prefer things to be canon-compliant. For worldbuilding I like jumping off of specific known facts or offhand references, rather than inventing things whole cloth. I like seeing a fic and being able to say "oh, so that's why xxx on page yyy!". So if you're going to ignore canon, please make it a very large, very obvious intentional departure! (but please don't stress on research if you're writing something less familiar. I really don't care about historical accuracy re: Rot3K or the exact details of robot technology in Gunnerkrigg or Rockman or whatever. But if you know the canon, closer rather than further please?)
-Want to write gen? sure. Want to write romantic pairings? go ahead. Include other characters as long as it fits the story you're telling? it's encouraged!

I do have two very specific no-gos, though. Number one, if you decide to write porn, that's perfectly OK! But no straight sex please, m/m or f/f only. Number two, while most of the fandoms I requested lend themselves to a certain level of violence, please do not include blood in your descriptions! (and avoid references to hearts, arteries, veins, the whole circulatory system). You can still be over the top violent if you like, that's fine, broken bones, amputations, whatever - just pretend that human (or repliroid) bodies are filled with sand, or a colorless odorless gas, or something, idk. Other body fluids are fine. No blood.

Now some fandom-specific notes. These prompts are just suggestions BTW! If you already have a story idea in mind, go ahead and write that one! We'll both be happier with the result probably. But if you're open to them...

I really love the interplay between Josuke and Okuyasu! Both of these guys to me are great fun to read and write about, and I hope that fun infects you as you write. Like I said in my notes, I'd really like to hear about Josuke and Okuyasu deciding to go shopping after winning the lottery with Shigechi, and having things get out of hand somehow. Like, both of them are into really fancy clothes but have terribly dated tastes, right? how's that work? Maybe they find a nice retro botique but it's run by a Stand user and something bizarre happens? who knows! Maybe they try to blow the money with a super nice dinner at Ginza but idk the train isn't running for some reason and they end up eating at a ramen stand. Lots of ways to go! But I'm not married to that idea - anything about the beautiful broship between Jokuyasu is OK with me.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
I really like Kongming. Just - clearly smarter than everyone around him, clearly able to bait people into traps 7 steps ahead, always thinking wheels within wheels and stratagems to counter stratagems. He had a number of intellectual rivalries and if you wanted to write about one, any of them is OK... but one that I really like is Zhou Yu of Wu, because Zhou Yu is incredibly brilliant on his own terms, but is still not a match for the Sleeping Dragon. I'd love a plans and counterplans sortie between them, if you're up to writing it. Or anything about Kongming with a worthy rival. Or... Kongming was only 25 when he was recommended to Liu Bei! And yet he and Pang Tong were so famous already? What's the deal with that? No really just write about smart people outsmarting each other, I don't care about ages or what's at stake, just clever gambits.

I prefer Japanese terminology (repliroid, irregular, etc) but feel free to write whichever is more comfortable for you! Like I said in my request, I'd most like to see a story about a particular time period in canon that I think gets glossed over a lot, and that's after the game canon itself jumped the rails: just before the events of X7. I really don't care about the truth behind Zero's death and resurrection, so feel free to ignore that subplot (Capcom certainly did!). I'm mostly concerned with X here - he's a pacifist who only joined the Hunters out of guilt and a feeling of obligation, and finally he's decided that he's doing more harm than good by being out in the field. What pushed him over the edge? What's he doing now that he's no longer a front-line combatant? Was fighting really the main job of a Hunter in the field, or was it a last resort with us only seeing the complete disaster high-crisis times during the games?
X and Zero have a very close relationship, but Zero's sill in the field. Is X okay with that? Is this a point of tension between them, or more of a relief - X seeing Zero's cooler head under pressure as a reason he's not fit for the job, Zero wanting to fight so X doesn't have to? Talk about a specific mission. Talk about between missions. Talk about day-to-day operations at Irregular Hunter HQ. Whatever you like! but that's the kind of thing I'm thinking of.
Also. Um. I really like damaged robots? Like cracked armor, exposed delicate machinery, artificial skin partially burned away, sparking exposed wires, shattered or removed limbs.... You don't need to include any of that. But if you wanted to be gruesome and overly detailed, this would be the place to do it. Or if you wanted to write maintenance that would be awesome too <3

Gunnerkrigg Court.
So, Kat and Paz. No really, Kat and Paz?? They haven't had much screentime since they hooked up. They haven't had much time at all since they hooked up! Have they even gone out on a date yet? (where can you go on a date in the Court?) I'd love some adolescent awkwardness mixed with the strange scenery of the Court!

Kamen Rider Kabuto.
OK. So. I want some cooking. The context doesn't matter. I'm vegetarian, and Tendo is a Japanese chef, but that doesn't matter either. You have a killer chili recipe? Your family's secret pasta sauce? The best dessert ever? You put it in.
Maybe he's teaching someone to cook. Someone who matters, like Hiyori or his sister. Or maybe someone who's terrible at cooking like Kagami or Kamishiro. Maybe it's a cooking contest between Tendo and Kusakabe. Maybe it's Iron Chef and something went wrong and there's only 10 minutes left and Tendo has to abuse Clock Up to make a four course meal from scratch that doesn't actually involve applying heat since he's sped up but the food isn't. Maybe this is the God Speed Love universe and it's all about post-apoc gourmet cooking. Maybe you want to write the saddest fic possible so it's set in the DCD universe where Tendo is permanently clocked up and lives multiple years of subjective time for everyone else's day. Whatever. Just put food in it.
